![]() I sometimes use the tracing/transfer paper method with the dark transfer paper to get my image onto the canvas as well. Giving it some thought, I started by laying some tracing paper over the area I was going to work on. ![]() ![]() Water color painting had bloomed in England, somewhere in eighteenth century. under the watercolor paper and trace the lines lightly. If it is a portrait where precision is required, I'll draw it on tracing paper first (which erases super easy for corrections) and then transfer the outline to the watercolor paper with Saral transfer paper. ![]() Test colors and keep notes of each mixture on a scrap piece of the same paper as you are using for the painting. Additionally, it protects artwork or color mark-ups.
